Automated distribution is a feature of Barloworld Equipment’s fast moving Cat part stock in Isando, which handles more than 70% of Cat parts sold in South Africa. The system is interfaced with the SAP business solution. Customers can expect quick response times and excellent security levels.
The parts operation consistently achieves ‘off-the-shelf’ availability of more than 96% within two hours (a figure measured daily).
