BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT (BWE) CAT MONSTER JAM COMPETITION

BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE") is giving away 3 prizes of four General Access Tickets to the Monster
Jam events taking place in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban (1 winner per region).

Competition Terms and Conditions:

  • The competition opens on Thursday, 16 March 2023 and closes on Friday 7 April 2023. The competition is only open to participants based in South Africa.
  • There will be three (3) draws during the competition, whereby BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT (“BWE”) will draw the winner by means of a random electronic selection.
  • The winners of the general access tickets and the three (3) random draws will be selected from interested participants who have shared the BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT Monster Jam content and/or answered the in-platform quiz relating to CAT machines and BWE Rental Solutions. Participants will be required to submit their answers to the quiz via the comments section on the quiz social post on Facebook. The entrants of this competition agree that they may be contacted via the relevant channel should it be necessary to obtain additional contact information from them, should their entries have been made by way of the dictated share process. Only use the official Barloworld Equipment social media pages listed below when participating.   • An authorized BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE") representative will contact all winners telephonically once the relevant draws have been audited and confirmed.
  • Winners will also be announced on BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT BWE's official social media platforms on the following dates: 11 April 2023 (JHB winner), 12 April 2023 (CPT Winner) and 13 April 2023 (DBN winner).
  • The winners will be issued with their tickets between the 14 and 18 April 2023.
  • In the event of a winner being disqualified in terms of these rules, another winner will be drawn.
  • Tickets may not be transferred or exchanged for cash or for any other goods or services. All winners will be sent their digital tickets from BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE") via e-mail or will be allowed to collect their tickets at specified Barloworld Equipment branches in based in Cape Town, Durban, or Johannesburg. Winners of the general access tickets will need to arrange collection/delivery (should tickets not have been sent via email) within 5 days prior to the event. If tickets are not claimed and collected within the stipulated five (5) days prior to the event, the tickets will be forfeited at BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT's discretion. BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT will communicate directly with the all winners to arrange collection of the tickets within this specified period. The names of the ticket winners will be published on the BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT website (www.BarloworldEquipment.co.za) and on BWE's social media pages, once the winners have been validated and verified (unless written communication is sent to BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT prohibiting this).
  • The winners of this competition are determined based on a random draw and therefore the decisions of BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE") are final and not subject to dispute. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  • Should any prizewinner not wish to have their names publicly announced or featured on BWE's social media platforms you may notify the authorized BWE representative of this upon being informed that you are a ticket winner. By accepting the ticket, the winners of the BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT "CAT MONSTERS" competition consent to BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE"). Using their names and pictures for any future marketing material relevant to BWE's machine and product offerings within print and digital media. Any objection to this must be expressly notified to BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE").

  • The processing of personal information for purposes of your participation in this competition will be subject to the Barloworld Equipment Privacy Statement, which can be accessed on https://www.barloworld-equipment.com/legal/privacy-statement/
  • All the organizers of this competition including all BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE"). Employees will not be allowed to enter this competition or become eligible for any tickets through this competition.
  • BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT ("BWE") will have the right to terminate the competition at any point at its discretion.
